Dr Pradeep Narayan is a senior cardiothoracic surgeon, academic researcher, and editor with extensive experience in clinical research design, translational science, and healthcare innovation. He completed his specialist training in the United Kingdom and holds a research doctorate from the University of Bristol.
He has contributed to numerous PubMed-indexed publications across cardiovascular surgery, surgical outcomes research, and digital health innovation. His work includes machine learning–based clinical risk prediction, AI-assisted diagnostic interpretation, and technology adoption in healthcare systems.
Dr Narayan serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and has held editorial and reviewer roles across several international journals. He is a member of leading professional bodies including the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
